hey, just a little personal update

For anyone from the old days who still checks out this board (because I know it's mostly old timers like myself), just wanted to say hi and let you know what I've been up to the past year.
I finally got fed up last year with my distaste of how I'm perceived and how I feel about myself and the way I was living, so I decided to do this gender transition thing (MtF). It sucks something horrible and I wouldn't even wish being trans on a Washington D.C. politician (though a trans person is actually running for national office this year I think), but I'm starting to feel a lot better about myself. I still have a long way to go and it's gonna be pretty difficult.
But yeah so I'm Freyja now. It took me a while to decide on a new web alias. I had been Rag for so long. I also think it's kind of symbolic for me, because in old Norse religion Freyja is the goddess of love, war and death, and she survived Ragnarok. Makes sense.
And I'm thinking about getting Steam again.
